The Recorders Association of Nevada has long contributed to a scholarship fund for Nevada students. Each year, one student is recognized for their academic achievements.
The 2023 RAN Scholarship applicants were some of the best and brightest. Most completed advanced courses with GPAs over 4.0. In addition to their scholastic achievements, they participated in extracurricular activities and were involved with organizations throughout their communities. While there was an abundance of deserving young adults, Montana Strozzi showed why she is this year’s recipient.
Montana will be graduating from Tonopah High School as valedictorian and has earned dual credit courses through Great Basin College. Not only does she hold a 4.2 GPA, she excels in her athletic endeavors. She has many accomplishments from participating in volleyball, softball and basketball. She also plans to continue wrestling at Hastings College. Her aspirations of being a medical doctor will assist in accomplishing her dream of helping others.
Montana Strozzi of Nye County earned the 2023 RAN Scholarship with her effort and perseverance. She made a great example of remarkable achievements in and outside the classroom. The Recorders Association of Nevada wish Montana success on her future endeavors.
